Victims!!

Saturday my roommate Sarah and I took advantage of an awesome extra credit opportunity for government. We went to the fire station to play victims for a training class. We got all made up with different wounds. Sarah had a broken leg....

I had a black eye....

and a big gash on my arm...

There were 3 other girls as well. One had a gash across her forhead and internal problems, one had a big rod thing through her hand and one was in shock. Basically what we did was act like we were in an earthquake. We went in this room and knocked over tables and chairs. We turned off all the lights and hid around the room. Then they would send in the rescue team. ( the people training to be emergency response people) They would come in and find us and take us out of the room to get medical help. We were supposed to make it feel as real as possible so there was a lot of screaming and stuff. It was a lot of fun but I hope to never be in that situation for real!
